Definition
A coalition member is an active volunteer for OCFC. Coalition Members are responsible for shaping the vision of OCFC, gathering participation of necessary agencies and individuals, and aiding in uncovering the strategies that will affect change. Above all, Coalition Members are responsible for keeping the focus on OCFC’s mission.
Active Membership
To maintain coalition membership, an individual must be considered an “active member.” Active Membership is defined by any one or combination of the following qualifications:
- Attendance at no less than 3 out of the 4 quarterly coalition meetings
- Regular attendance at monthly committee meetings (80%)
- Regular advocacy on behalf of the coalition
- Advocacy
- Information Dissemination
- Programming
Coalition members are encouraged to be active participants in committees, volunteer at OCFC events, and participate in Achieve Exit Interviews.
